羊毛は真綿の様な塊りですが、
割いていくと細い細い羊の毛。
そのか細い毛を重ねて描きだす作品を
“羊毛画”と名付けました。

羊毛で描く絵は鉛筆画の様に
きれいにぴしっと描く事はできず、
つたなく牧歌的で
幼子が作り出す寓話の世界のように
自由なのびやかさを感じます。

手仕事が作り上げる小世界と
羊毛表現の豊かさを
日常の中で楽しんでいただけるブローチです。

Though wool appears as a soft, cotton-like mass, teasing it apart reveals fine, delicate fleece. By layering these slender strands, a picture emerges—a medium we lovingly call “Wool Painting.”

Unlike the crisp, precise lines of a pencil drawing, art rendered in wool is delightfully imperfect. Rustic and unpretentious, it captures a buoyant, free spirit—like a fable imagined through the eyes of a child.

These brooches bring into your daily life a miniature world birthed by handcraft, celebrating the rich texture and storytelling of wool.

///　羊毛画ブローチのこだわり　///

羊毛画はさまざまな色の羊毛を
ほんの数ミリずつ取り出しては重ねて刺し固め、
惜しみなく時間をかけて
少しずつ色と形を作り上げていきます。

完成した羊毛画には、
広島ビーズという50年以上前に作られた
国産ヴィンテージビーズのみを刺繍します。
パリコレやオートクチュールにも使われる
広島ビーズは世界に誇る
熟練の職人技術により
作られていました。
残念ながら現在は後継者が居らず
製造はされておりませんので
希少性が高い幻の逸品と言われています。

羊毛画ブローチにこそ使いたいと決め、
少しずつ集めた美しい広島ビーズを
点描の様にふんだんに刺繍し、
羊毛画に豊かな表情を彩ります。

何十年と時を経て、
味わい深くなじみの良い色合いのグラスビーズを
ご堪能ください。

最後に、羊毛画を守る額縁の役割として
薄く波打つ模様を施した真鍮を添えています。
控えめに輝く真鍮の縁飾りが
ブローチを可憐に仕上げています。

/// The Craftsmanship Behind Wool Painting Brooches ///

A Wool Painting is brought to life a few millimeters at a time. Fibers of wool in diverse shades are layered and needle-felted with boundless patience, gradually shaping every contour and subtle nuance.

Each piece is adorned solely with vintage Hiroshima Beads—rare Japanese glass beads crafted over 50 years ago. Once honored in Paris haute couture, these beads were the pinnacle of world-class artisan skill. Because production has ceased with no remaining successors, they have become cherished, phantom treasures.

Feeling these beads were destiny for our brooches, we painstakingly gathered them bit by bit. Stitched like fine pointillism, they bestow a vibrant, multi-faceted radiance upon the wool painting.

We invite you to savor the quiet beauty of these aged glass beads, mellowed by time into graceful, naturally blending hues.

To complete the work, a thin frame of textured brass with soft, wave-like ripples gently cradles the art. The subtle shimmer of the brass edging gives each brooch an understated, lovely finish.
